The author is a retired Engineer and Lawyer who has traveled extensively in Europe, Asia, Central, and South America for business and pleasure. He lives in Plymouth, Michigan. Has two adult children and is widowed. This is his second published book. He has been a “ NUT “ about Roman history and lives since he was in the 4th grade. He has traveled extensively in Europe to research and visit ancient Roman sites.

Roger Nelson is a bicycle rider who qualified in 1994 to ride in the Race Across America. He's also been in more than a hundred races, most of them 5K. He's a writer with many varied interests, and holds a Bachelor of Religious Education for the Baptist Bible College in Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania, and a B.S. from Acquinas College in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He's a Michigan resident who resides in Texas during the winter.
